If you or someone you know in Caldwell County, TX are in need of our services, getting our help could not be easier.
On your first visit we ask you to bring in a photo ID and proof of residency (like an electricity bill.) You will be asked to fill out a short form and you will receive a basket of food. We offer one grocery basket per household per month.
Our baskets consist of protein (meat), eggs, milk, bread products, rice/pasta and canned goods. Depending on the family size, the basket should be enough to prepare between ten and fifteen meals. We strive to make our baskets consistently the same weight for all days of operation and delivery great quality products.
Fresh produce is located in bins in the lobby and you can select what you need without limitation. We do ask that you be respectful of others and take only what you need.
We offer the HOPE Program
Healthy Options Program for the Elderly
Any one over 55 is eligible for this program. Typically the pantry delivers between 250 and 300 bags a month, with the average bag being 10 pound of non-perishable food items. The HOPE bags are available at the pantry on Mondays of the 3rd and 4th weeks of the month.
